Great Basin National Park

This March on my 59th birthday road trip I included the Great Basin National Park in Nevada. As with everything, getting there included as much magic as the park itself. Hwy 50 included the shoe tree Is this art????????
 and sheep crossing the highway. 

I did not see a warning sign "sheep crossing". I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do so I s-l-o-w-l-y kept driving and then noticed a pickup truck going the other direction stopped on the side of the road. The owner of the sheep? I was too focused on not hitting anyone to snap a photo of the one black sheep. I'm guessing this was around 11am. On the way out the next day around 7am I experienced the ENTIRE herd crossing the highway. I stopped and absorbed the sounds and visuals.

Was this just a coincidence....sheep crossing on the way there and back? I think not.
